COMMUNITY SAVINGS RECEIVES THE QUEEN'S AWARD FOR VOLUNTARY SERVICE
Community Savings Ltd has been awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in the 2010 Awards.

OUR CUSTOMERS' BALANCES ARE GUARANTEED AGAINST FINANCIAL FAILURE OF THE COMPANY OR ITS JERSEY BANKERS.
It has been confirmed by the Treasury Minister that the deposit compensation scheme, set up to protect depositors' savings in the event of bank failures, effectively includes deposits held with Community Savings Ltd.
It should be noted however, that generally the scheme only covers personal depositors in local Banks, whilst our members' deposits are lodged with such entities in this Company's name. The authorities in our case have nevertheless made an exception so that the advantages of the scheme will apply to our ultimate account holders.
Consequently, in the event of a local Bank failure you will have the same cover as customers with local Banks.

Accounts may be opened even if you are unable to open a bank account elsewhere.
